Some of the character traits were that Bilbo was a very brave and outgoing person. He tried to make sure that everyone was alright and make sure the goblins had what they needed. He was never really cocky at all and was still the leader. Smaug was different because he was very cocky and always thought that he was in the right every time. Between both texts they were both very similar and both had the same traits for the most part.

The climax of the text was when the eagles came to help out the goblins and wargs to fight against their enemy in Smuag and the eagles sided with the goblins. The goblins would then defeat Smuag and complete their long run to get their treasure.

Resolution Analysis

The biggest impact of the story is the journey that the goblins had to go through. They had to fight off many different Villains, including Smuag, and they had to get their treasure chest but it was not an easy road. Bilbo was the main part of the goblins and when they had to fight Smuag that was huge because many of them didn't think they would win. Both books had a rough journey and finally reached the end.

The mode inflects the text by showing different sides of the characters. Some of the characters are very cocky and not helping as much as others. The two modes are a lot different because one shows how the characters are and interact, whereas the other is more like storytelling and shows what all happened throughout the story.
