2. They believe that the true God has his own personal name, “Jehovah”. This God distinguishes him from false gods.

3. They believe Jesus Christ is the Savior, “the Son of God”, and “the firstborn of all creation.”

4. Jehovah Witnesses believe that God’s Kingdom is a heavenly government with a king, Jesus Christ, and 144,000 corulers.

5.They believe in the Earth and that after, “After the destruction of the wicked, the earth will be made into a paradise and populated forever by righteous humans. (Psalm 37:10, 11, 29)” 

6. They believe in preaching.

Jehovah’s Witnesses only baptize people who have completed a thorough study of the Bible and want to serve God as one of his Witnesses.

Students cannot participate in any celebrations. This includes birthdays, holidays, and any other celebrations. 

Jehovah’s Witnesses do not pledge to the United States flag.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not always necessary to send your Jehovah’s Witness out of the room. This often makes the child feel excluded and left out. Communication with the parents is vital. 

Here is an example of how you could approach this topic with parents:

"I know that there are some restrictions around holidays and celebrations that go with being Jehovah's Witnesses. Let's talk about what your preferences are for your child when it comes to classroom activities and parties. “
