Soon my little brother Charlie was born, and my sister and I were playing with Charlie for what felt like 24 hours a day. My dad kept showing us pictures of houses. I didn't really know why until dinner later that evening. 

“So we will be moving in about 2 weeks”, my dad said. We were all surprised by this, except for my mom. 

As 2 weeks went by it felt like 2 days. And soon there were moving trucks in front of our house. My dad helped load the trucks and then we drove to our new house we pulled in the driveway. later I met some kids on the block. We also took a walk around the neighborhood. I knew that this house would be perfect.

“Always believe that you are a good person and brush off what others think of you and you’ll live a happy life.” To this very day, I still consider this person my most trusted friend. All years coming to 3rd grade I let others judge me, and was afraid of what would think of me.  I let it weaken me.

But as I learned the next year I figured it out and was able to get it through my thick skull, that no matter how many people judge me it only affects me if I let take control of me. I control who I am and what i do.

My Memoir was about the day we got back from Camp Duncan, and the day I tested for my Black Belt. It. It was so fun, and as I say, double the excitement!

After our family and our family friends got off our flight from Chicago to Paris and grabbed our luggage, we were ready to get on our other flight which would take us to our final destination, Denmark. However, before we left, our flight to Denmark had been canceled due to mechanical issues. Our flight had been postponed a couple of hours later meaning we had 9 hours in Paris! Unfortunately, because our family friends were a family of 4 and we are a family of 5 their flight was earlier. However, we were having problems with our luggage and train tickets. All while I was lugging around my backpack because I had put so many books and stuff in my carry-on. Finally, we got our train tickets and left the station. 

I don't remember much of the train ride, it was pretty quick and I was mostly looking out the window. When we got out Notre Dame was right next to us. The church still looked magnificent even after the fire. The stained glass windows gleamed and the sun almost looked like it was emerging from the two towers. After we were done admiring its beauty we got a bunch of pictures and began to wander around. 

After a while of looking at the amazing old combining with new architecture, we all decided to get some food. We found a small little place near the Louvre and had lunch. When we were done we strolled over to the Louvre which wasn't that far of a walk. That's when my backpack started feeling heavy. I was able to deal with as we looked at statues and the Louvre. Then I started seeing planes but not just normal ones there were B-52s and fighter jets that looked like F16 and Raptors. I just kept looking up and they kept coming, finally, we decided to leave and set off for our final destination, the Eiffel Tower. We wove through massive gardens, bridges and along a river and streets until we reached the Eiffel Tower. Throughout our walk, my dad mostly carried my backpack because it was so heavy. Finally, we just got down on the grass and I lied down on the grass and stared up at the Eiffel Tower. 

After that, we got some souvenirs and got dinner. I was so tired that I fell asleep while we were waiting for dessert. Finally, we went back to the airport and took off for Denmark. Not a bad start to our 2-week trip!

Being quarantined is strange because of E-Learning and barely going outside. It feels weird because I usually wake up early on weekdays to get ready for school but now that there is no school I wake up early and I can’t fall asleep and I have nothing to do. E-Learning is easy for some days but other days its harder

The next day we packed our stuff: rods, food, pillow, worms, buckets, hats, sunglasses, blankets and good shoes. We left the city at night and we arrived very late at night. The place we stayed for the night is called Yogi Bear Camping Site. The next day we wake up very early to go and pick up our boat. We arrived at the dock. We put our stuff from the car into the boat after this we went to a little store to buy minions. After we bought this we are ready to go fishing. When my family went on the boat I was so happy to catch my first fish.

Let me tell you how to catch a fish. First, you stop the boat. Then you get your rod and put the worm on the hook. Then you throw the string in the water but don't let go of your rod. And then you stay and wait until you feel a tug. When you feel a tug don’t scream. Pull in the string slow then the fish doesn't know that someone or something is pulling him. When the fish is closer to the boat keep on rolling it until you see the fish. Then after this its about time to pull the rod up. After you pull the rod up you have to take the hook out of the fish's mouth. When you take it out, hold the fish with two hands because the fish is so slippery. Then take the bucket and put some water from the lake. Then you put the fish in the bucket. If you want more fish you keep on fishing.

Well, the fishing trip was fun and nice. Besides catching fish I saw fish jumping in the water, also I saw other people fishing. More than that I saw different types of birds catching fish. 

After a long day spending on the water. I retune with my family at home. I just wait for my father to prepare the fish that I caught. I was so happy that I had a nice meal with my family and I was happy that I caught my first fish in my life.

She was no help at all she said “You are ok you just need to walk on it” I tried but it just kept hurting.

I went up to my classroom which is on the 3rd floor and sat down then my teacher said “hey Jocelyn can you go get the blocks from the closet”. I should have said no i can't but that's disrespectful  so I was limping around so bad  that my teacher said forget it.

 So when school ended I went home and told my mom EVERYTHING so now  I went to urgent care it was not busy as bee there as usual so we got called back turns it was a sprained so I stayed home for a few days. My mom helped during the days I stayed home. What I learned is that I need to pay attention when getting up in a chair.   That's how I sprained my ankle
