         <description><![CDATA[<div>Quinonez Vannie Jannie C.<br>11 H.E 4<br>Province : Bohol&nbsp;<br>Culture/s : Visayas&nbsp; The culture of the Boholaños was influenced by Spain and Mexico during colonization. Many traditional dances, music, dishes and other aspects of the culture have considerable Hispanic influence. But while this is true, Bohol’s native artistic heritage is even older. Boholanos already had a culture of their own as evidenced by artifacts unearthed at Mansasa, Tagbilaran, and in Dauis and Panglao.<br><br></div><div><br><br>Belief : Religion. Most Boholanos are Catholic, with a minority professing Protestant faiths and Islam. The former indigenous Boholano religion was largely eliminated by the Spaniards<br><br>Tradition /s : Bohol festivals and feast days are part and parcel of Boholano culture. Boholanos are fun-loving, generous to a fault, and deeply religious.          <description><![CDATA[<div>ANSUAZ , LENERIZA S<br>HE -4&nbsp;<br><br>ISLAND : Visayas<br><br>PROVINCE : Tacloban<br>CULTURE/S : Waray-Waray, also called Waray or Samaran or Samareño, any member of a large ethnolinguistic group of the Philippines, living on Samar, eastern Leyte, and Biliran islands.<br>BELIEF/S: Many warays believe in superstitions just like whispering to the dead some believe here that if desired to be fulfilled just like if you are sick or have a problem, they say whisper it to the dead and he will take it to the next life and all your feelings will disappear.<br>TRADITIONA/S: The Pintados Festival is a cultural-religious celebration in Tacloban based on the body-painting traditions of the ancient tattooed "pintados" warriors. In 1986, the Pintados Foundation, Inc. was formed by the people of Tacloban to organize this festival in honor of Sr. Santo Niño.<br>CUSTOM/S:Colorful attires, vibrant atmosphere, and endless merrymaking, words fall short when describing Pintados Kasadyaan, one of the most awaited and standout festivals in the entire nation.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Island :Visayas&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Province : Northern Samar</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Culture: The culture is <strong>basically Visayan</strong>. The Waray-Waray are often stereotyped as brave warriors, as popularized in the tagline, “basta ang Waray, hindi uurong sa away” (Waray never back down from a fight.) Farming and fishing are the main livelihood.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Belief:Religion. Catholics comprised 96.76 percent of the province's household population in 2000. Other religious groups in the province are the Aglipays, Iglesia ni Kristo, Islam, Buddhists, Baptists, and Protestants from the United Church of Christ of the Philippines and other Protestant sects.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Tradition:Many Waray traditions can be traced to pre-colonial times.
