The thing that I liked about mum is that she is very kind. She is working hard to earn money for her family. She wanted Jono to live happily but at least tell his mother whatever he is doing because maybe he can do any wrong work and can go in wrong path and can be hurted by any of his wrong work. I liked that jono is exited for his new pet dog and he was very clever because he was success in to hide the alligator for mum and Sam.
