Bus students and walkers/picker uppers mixed together on playground. Not safe.  Already a parent/student fight.
Parents on one way street to pick up in their cars, hostile with the parked cars, having to leave their cars to go retrieve students etc. It use to be a one stop shop and pick up... this new way has cause tension, and chaos. Such a Lack of consistent, clear, effective communication.  ex. 1. Still no reports of covid to our staff or families, despite what it says on dashboard with us have more than a few positive cases.

The handbook/manual was rushed through in 15 minutes... on organizational day nothing explained in detail.  Complete pages were skipped.  Things were told to look at . Nothing was communicated through mouth ex/ lesson plans, discipline , chain of command, pbis etc. PLP etc.
No one has been asked to sign paperwork to say they heard/read the manual.  No one has been asked to accept a letter if they are being observed or not with Danielson framework this year fore evaluation.

(Example... 1.Parents find a way in the building all throughout the day.  Some with masks some not.  Appointments not being made.
2.  Isolation Room not being supervised.  Kids in there without supervision ( jumping on tables, trying to call their parents on school phone, at the windows that are blocked off yelling out to the children on tot lot). If isolation room isn't opened, then they are in office , contaminating 2 + symptoms in whole office space staff enters )
3. Students are constantly walking the halls without mask. reminders in announcements, but not being reinforced throughout the building.
4.Social distancing is not happening in the middle school overcrowded classroom, or during lunch breaks of which we designed three lunch periods, students are sharing food, constantly touching. There needs to be classroom and lunch room seating charts that are consistently followed and reinforced by staff on lunch duty.  The lunch schedule requires paras to come inside off playground once teachingt staff start their lunch duties...... this has not occured yet. despite an email of duties for paras to come in from outside once teaching staff come out to do their duty. Paras have not had a meeting with APIC to know of their expectations, duties etc..... this leaves cafeteria understaffed each day as paras mingle outside during recess that is monitored by teaching staff already.


What happened to the promise of sanitizing daily. 
I think this is terrible, what I/we are expected to endure.
My health is just as important as our children, I really enjoy the work that I do here, serving students and families. I also have a family outside of my job, that I need to keep safe as well. I need answers as to what the plan is to keep me safe. Thank you.

We have many parents upset they have to leave their cars parked on one way street to come retrieve their kids off the recess lot, as we were told to bring student there and wait in line at dismissal. Most parents are use to our original, drive thru method where we have students close to the one way street for pick up and send off. Ex.  1st and 4th grade staff stayed until 5pm on Friday last week to meet with APIC afterschool.  APIC had left without telling them or meeting with them. 
Ex.  Let's have a 15 minute WHOLE groups session for parents at open house night... then emails everyone to hold their OWN open house there will be no WHOLE meet . ( once again avoiding greeting parents/ or meeting with staff) 
Ex.  Let's talk as a response in emails to individuals but then never answers phone 
Ex.  When multiple staff members suggested we start devising a back up plan if we don't hit third Friday numbers, met with resistance and No Were Good mentality. Even though just by walking halls we all recognized no where near the 380 on 8/27 we were told we were anticipating.
EX.  Avoids holding staff meetings, avoids talking at them...refers the converstaion to SST to conduct or uses " I'll check with my supervisors" on everything. 
EX.  All of September not one Staff Meeting held... an "optional 10 minute one " was held for budget talk
( following the pattern of APIC same behavior with her 2020 position as APIC with us.... with not holding staff meetings to connect the communciation and clear up misconceptions .

Those activities could have been on other side of lot and those vans could have entered the van entrance on other parking lot like the delivery trucks do. Instead cones were placed to block handicapped spot now twice this year... which is illegal... excuse was made that APIC contacted the handicap pass teacher,,, however there are two additional staff members that are paras with the same handicap pass and at the time, a school safety with a handicap pass need.
