Zaroff then seen a plane start falling from the sky and crashes into the water. Zaroff was worried about hunting. Then Zaroff saw a few deer and started shooting at them. From a distance to the right rainsford heard shots from away. Rainsford then started swimming in the rough dark ocean night towards the sounds of the shots from a distance.

Rainsford was very tired from swimming such a long distance. Finally rainsford could hear water splashing against the rocks. Then rainsford finally thought he had made it to land he could feel something under his feet. Rainford then got excited he was at land. All of a sudden rainsford was poked with something sharp. Rainsford then started swimming faster then rainsford finely made it to land. Rainsford then passes out on the island. Zaroff was walking by and saw rainsford laying there he runs and hides.

Zaroff was then standing above Rainsford blocking the sun in Rainsford eyes and zaroff kicks Rainsford. Rainsford jumps up and see a tall nasty man looking at him. Zaroff then says my name is hunter Zaroff i own this island. This is my island where i have been alone for many of years. This island if named planes trap island. Rainsford then answered i am lutiant Rainsford. i was flying in the dark nights heading to war and my planes motor locked up.

Rainsford then takes the food and warm clothes and starts talking to zaroff about how he could get back to caswell county. Zaroff then says there's no going back. your not leaving.

Zaroff was starting to claim down. Zaroff was watching Rainsford eat and was sitting there smiling as Rainsford. Rainsford looked up and seen Zaroff looking creepy like a killer in the woods. Rainsford then started thinking of how he kill Zaroff. Rainsford then proceeds to look around trying to find something Rainsford then sees Zaroff's knife laying on the table that Zaroff recently skinned the deer with that they are eating. After seeing the knife Rainsford then get the knife when Zaroff was not looking. Rainsford then ask to go to the bathroom and as he walks by Zaroff he proceeds to kill Zaroff because of the way Zaroff was looking and talking to him and then comes to find out Zaroff has had a warrant for his arrest for killing many of people.
