For example, week 3 under 8b includes "die Redemittel" which I found enormously helpful. Some of the activities do this, but for the longer written assignments, I would find the extra support useful. My struggle comes not in what I wish to say but how to say it. Even a word bank for suggested nouns and verbs to include would be helpful. Given my level, I think I need scaffolding, although I can figure things out with my dictionary. Sometimes even when I google phrases and seek context to help produce my own sentences, I mess up on verb choice.

I like that we have a wide variety of topics to read and write about to help develop our vocabulary. I like that the context is about German culture and geography. 

I also appreciate the feedback. Any comments about grammar and sentence structure are greatly appreciated. I need to know how to improve, and I will never do that without making many, many mistakes.

Overall, I am enjoying the course. It is a challenge for me, but I am plugging away at it.
