This was an event held at the beginning of the year (Jan 2016) to help raise money for the sufferers of the Yarloop-Waroona bushfire. By applying to Grill'd Burgers' "Local Matters," we can both spread awareness in the community about the Mundaring fire, as well as raise money for the struggling families. It works in that every customer is given a bottle cap to place in one of three donation jars, meaning every customer will read about the Mundaring fire in order to make their choice of who to donate too, so regardless of who they pick they are still made aware of the event. At the end of each month, the fundraiser jar with the most bottle caps is given $300, and the other two $100, from Grill'd. Therefore money will be raised regardless of whether customers pick our jar the most or not. - Hundreds of animals killed (farms).

- Power line fell causing electrical sparks = bushfire.
- Bushfire took over 3 days to completely extinguish and over 50 firefighters spent 72hrs tackling the flames.
- All families successfully evacuated their homes 
- No people killed. 2 mild casualties with first degree burns.
- Reported over 100 farm animals missing from properties, caused by people having to flee their homes and setting their livestock free.

Every week outside many Bunnings stores are sausage sizzles and cake stalls selling goods to thousands of customers for a couple of dollars each. People working here are volunteers and often people personally effected or involved in the cause, therefore are able to talk and spread awareness to any interested customers.
