Mr. Leibert though was the first one to truly show me that teachers are humans too. He was there for me and my family during a tough time and would be in regular communication with my parents.

I'd also like to shout out my middle school principal. He picked up my little brother every morning and brought him to school each day for the whole year to help him through similar times. 

They all became part of the family. They'd show up at our games after school or on the weekends, sometimes even when they weren't school related games but club.
