It is one of the most recognized names in the industry. Hilton Hotels &amp; Resorts offers travelers a world of authentic experiences. The name of Hilton came from the first owner, Conrad Hilton. In 1919, he has bought a hotel in Cisco, Texas named The Mobley. And after a few years, he buys other Texas hotels and his ambition has become greater. In 1925, Conrad Hilton opens the high-rise, Dallas Hilton, the first hotel to carry the Hilton name. <br><br>Nowadays, there are almost 560 Hilton Hotels properties spread in 83 countries and territories across six continents. As the most recognized name in the industry, travelers all over the world have been saying “Take me to the Hilton” for almost a century. This is because of Hilton’s innovative approach to products, amenities, and service. <br><br>Hilton Hotels and Resorts mainly targets both business and leisure travelers at places around in major city centers, close to the airport, convention centers and popular vacation destination around the world. They had remained the stylish, forward-thinking global leader of hospitality until now.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The foundation of the facility of Hilton Hotel is having a clean bed, water heating system and air conditioning. Hilton Hotel has provided all of these basic requirements for the customer. Their in-hotel service is available for 24 hours to satisfy customer’s needs. Hilton won the “ Highest in Guest Satisfaction among upscale hotel chains’” and was awarded the highest ranking in the J.D Power 2014 North America Hotel guest satisfaction Index Study. To provide the best service in the hospitality industry, a strong wifi is necessary. Therefore, Hilton Hotel also has a strong wifi to enhance their customer’s experience especially for upscale business travelers who need a strong internet connection to finish important tasks. Next, human capital is also important in satisfying people’s physiological needs. Hilton Hotel has over 665 managed properties and 100,000 team members to maintain their franchise company.  Without human capital to support the whole management, it is hard to build up such a strong company in the hospitality industry that is able to fulfill the needs of customers.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ensuring customer’s safety and security is absolutely necessary for every organization. Hilton Hotels provide security cameras which are CCTV in most areas of the hotel as a deterrent to crime. Hilton Hotel also provides guest room provision. The provision includes external locks, a secondary locking device for entry and connecting doors, entry door viewer, self- closing entry door and central safety deposit boxes. Water hygiene, electrical safety, gas safety are periodically serviced. On the other hand, contractor rules also exist in Hilton Hotel. Basically, it is an existing procedure for visiting contractors. Visitors must sign and receive a copy of an ID card that must be returned when leaving the premises. Permits to work are used for high-risk work tasks, identified as Hot Works, Roof Works and etc.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> Customers feeling loved and a sense of belonging to an organization is important to gain loyal customers. To achieve this level of Maslow Hierarchy which is the social need, Hilton Hotel made very spacious and comfortable common areas in the hotel where clients can relate to each other and with the staff. Hilton Hotel ensures that their employees are giving the best service to the customers by being polite and professional. A polite employee will make people feel comfortable and willing to stay at the hotel for long period. Hilton Hotel hired multi-lingual staff in order to communicate with those who are not local. This behavior makes non-local customers feel a sense of belonging when speaking in their own mother tongue in another country. In order to let the customers feel a sense of belonging, they also provide places such as bar area, sightseeing areas, gym and an enormous swimming pool. These recreational places are for the customers to interact and chill-out with other people. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Self-esteem is related to the feeling of being respected and gain recognition. There are a few ways that Hilton used to gain self-esteem. First, by having an optimized website which is hiltonworldwide.com so that they gain visibility, authority, and recognition which is also a part of a business strategy.  The geographic location may also contribute to generating confidence. Therefore, Hilton Hotels’ way of opening up premises in a lot of countries also contributes to their confidence.  Hilton has special services such as Spas and other personalized services that can improve the hotel’s image and status.  Finally, Hilton owned social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. This contributes to generating more confidence, gratefulness, and consideration.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Self-actualization is closely related to the personality and the philosophy of the hotel’s managers.  The needs included in this level have to do with self-actualization, with the sense of achievement and personal growth. It depends on the attitude and personal drive of the person in power. The person in power in Hilton stands on the meanings of the acronyms that forms the word HILTON. The words are Hospitality, Integrity, Leadership, Teamwork, Ownership and Now. NOW is the value that is strongly related to the philosophy of the person in power in Hilton. It means that every moment which is now, we shouldn’t forget why we do this. This will ensure that everyone in Hilton will remember the reasons they enter this field and would be strong enough to face the challenges. The outcome is that everyone will try to be the best version of themselves for the sake of self-actualization.</div>]]></description>

When opening the website, you insert the job you are interested in and the preferable country and province you want to work in. In this website, they will show the job descriptions and requirements. The website also mentions about how is it like to work in Hilton. At the end, you can choose to either apply for the job or apply to join the Talent Network.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The way Hilton chooses its employees is by conducting multiple assessments. The assessments will take place at an assessment centre. Here, future employees will be expected to participate in a variety of exercises. Their performance will be monitored. Thee assessments include numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and presentation. In the numerical reasoning, they will receive a number of questions, usually 20, to be answered in a given time. The questions relate to graphs, percentages and tables whereby they will be asked to analyse data and chose from a set of multiple choice answers. This is designed to measure their numerical abilities. The verbal reasoning assessments comprises of a number of questions. Future employees will be presented with a series of paragraphs which they will be required to read and then answer questions. Your options will be True, False or Cannot Tell. This test will be assessing their analytical skills. For the presentation, everyone will be asked to prepare a presentation on a topic given in front of the assessors.They will then be required to answer questions in order to demonstrate their knowledge of the company and how they would work under pressure. They will also be assessed on their presenting skills as well as their language and overall delivery.<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Hilton hotel implanted a new app – Hilton Honors, whereby consumers can download it from the app store or google play. With the Hilton Honors app, it will be easier for customers to travel because everything is ready for you. You can digital check-in, choose your favorite room and even unlock your hotel room door with digital key all in one. Besides the apps have included the ride and explore as Hilton having a partnership with Uber. You can request an Uber ride through the Hilton Honors app and get recommendations about trending hotspots from Uber through Local Scene but it is only available in select cities.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hilton has always been wanting to appear as diverse as possible. For example, they employ more women (53% women) in their companies.There is no harm in increasing publicity and advertise job opportunities in more medium.The reason for Hilton to increase media exposure in other media platforms like newspapers, radio, and television is also because some people might not have the access to internet or have little to no experience in using the internet. These type of people usually have some access to other media platforms such as newspapers, radio or maybe television.For example, the ethnic minorities living in rural areas. Increasing medium of advertising job opportunities means that we also increase the number of people receiving the specific information. This also means that Hilton can probably increase the percentage of workers that are from ethnic minorities. To get younger generations for a more diverse age of workers, Hilton should advertise in up-to-date medias such as advertising on Youtube or Spotify.</div>]]></description>
