Volunteer teams participate in animal-assisted activities (meet and greet activities, animal-assisted education, speaking to schools, community organizations), and many community events such as fairs and parades. Animal-assisted therapy, such as, goal-directed therapeutic interventions, is another area our teams participate.

• Development and maintenance of a strong professional organization to accomplish these objectives.

The stained-glass windows depicting historic sites in Seneca are located in the arch at the front and rear of the Gallery. In 2006, stained glass artist Robert Crenshaw of Seneca created the design and crafted the windows. The project was funded by the Greys of Oconee chapter United Daughters of the Confederacy with proceeds from sales of Mrs. Bell's 1984 book, Rebels in Grey.

The gallery exhibitions rotate and features local artists exhibitions as well as historic exhibitions highlighting topics relevant to the local area.

​Both floors of the museum are filled with displays, from the Revolutionary War to modern conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The museum offers an opportunity for visitors to see firsthand what veterans have contributed to, and often sacrificed for, our country, the world, and our freedom.

Military artifacts, documents, photographs, and artwork adorn the walls of the museum. Collections include personal histories of Oconee County veterans in their own words, preserved in digital format and available for viewing by visitors.  

In 1993 the Walhalla Auditorium Restoration Committee created a charter, obtained a lease and a 501(c)3 designation and restoration began. The first performance happened in August 2003 when Emile Pandolfi played to a full house.
