My name is Ally Dellacioppa and I am a Special Ed and English teacher at Byram Hills High School. I chose to participate because I have heard of the power standards but don't know much about them. I want to see how I can use them in my teaching in the fall. Looking forward to working with you all :)

My name is Francesca and I am a special Ed and 3rd grade teacher in the Byram Hills School District. At my previous school I taught 5th grade and we did a few workshops and began studying the idea of power standards. I found this to be very interesting and extremely helpful when teaching and identifying high priority standards. Now teaching 3rd grade and resource room I would like to learn more about this and begin to develop lessons around these standards.

Hello! Happy Summer:)
My name is Meredith Brieant and I am a Special Ed Teacher at Byram Hills Middle School (HCC). I have been teaching in the 7th grade for 4 years. Last summer during COVID return to school planning our Science Department Chair began to ask us to map out our power standards so that we could focus our curriculum map to revolve around the most important standards in the event we weren't able to get through all of our standards given the unique situation that hybrid learning presented. It was helpful to us as we planned for the school year and I am excited to gain IDE Corp's perspective on the task.
