Discovering God's Call

Our job is to discern God's call through prayer. We will probably not have our vocation be revealed after a short time and probably not all at once. It will take a lot of time and devotion to find your true vocation.

Trust

We will also not only have to pray to God, but trust in him. We will have to have the courage to respond to his call in faith.

Right now I am a single person. Also known as "God's army". I think God is calling me to the married life because that is the kind vocation that I think best fits me.

Inspiration

My parents are my inspiration because they have followed their vocation to the married life. Everyday they set a great example for me. They show me exactly how a married couple are supposed to live. They take me to Church every weekend and really help me get closer to God.

Growing in Faith

I grow in faith every single day at school because of how much we pray every day and during Religion class I get a much better understanding of God every class. Where I increase my faith life the most though is every Tuesday at mass.

Future

I am excited to see how my vocation turns out and where it takes me in life. My greatest fear is if the vocation God calls me to will work out or if it won't be what I want, but I know that no matter what God calls me to it will be the place that I will be the best fit.

The main reason that we need to answer God's call is because we all need to serve God and by following our call we will be serving God.
