Ireana Sendler- took advantage of her job to help Jews, she was a social worker of Warsaw municipally

Sofka Skipwith-  Heard stories about the Jews and tried to help them as best as she can.

Karolina Jusczykowska -  risked her life so that two Jews could work for her.

Lois Gunden -  lied to a policeman, the 3 children she had went for a walk so she lied to save their lives.

In 1933 Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. During his time of power, he blamed the Jews for anything he could, like Germany' defeat in WWI. He also had assumptions about how people looked, people with fair skin, blue eyes, and blond hair were the supreme of humans or master race.

 Jews at this time only about one percent of Germany's population of 55 million people.

 Jews aren't allowed to have health insurance and the German labor front.

They pass a law allowing forced abortions on women to prevent them from passing hereditary disease.

Jews over 15 had to apply for identity cards from the police, to be shown on demand to any police.

The exhaust fumes from the trucks engine was ran into the container to suffocate them. They found this method to be not the best one to use because the average capacity was around 50 people, the best method mass shootings. BUT the actual extermination was carefully planned, the men, women and children were split up. The children with the women, they were told that they had to get undressed and the girls and women had to cut all their hair off. The men go first, then the women and children.
