I did not really appreciate sculpture as I didn't see the point in carving something into a solid form. Depending on the kind of sculpture, there are different materials being used for each one such as wood, concrete, marble, light, metal, and more. I also came to appreciate how to view sculpture. It is not simply raw material carved from the artistic vision of the sculptor, but a combination of techniques and processes.
