I have cheered since I was 5 years old. Last April I competed at The Cheerleading World Championships which has been my dream since I started! It took years of training and dedication with some injuries along the way but I would not change anything about the journey (I am the girl on the right!!)

I haven't always liked my brother....especially when we were little! But now he is one of my biggest supporters and has helped me through tough times. We are both graduating this year. He is graduating from ECU and I am graduating from Wakefield HS.
My mom is a Nurse at Duke (Yes I am a Duke fan) and my dad is a retired Police Officer

I was born and lived in NY until I was 13 years old. I did not live in the city but I loved the city. There was so much to do there. I love to go back and visit my friends and eat really good pizza.

This photo of me and my Worlds team expresses so much about leadership and motivating. My coaches, teammates and myself stood in this circle building each other up to reach out goal. I spoke of us imaging us hitting a perfect routine, the joy of knowing we put our heart out on the mat and winning the title. Encouraging the little ones to be confident and stay tight. Leadership like this truly comes from the heart.

Being confident in life is not always easy and fear can be powerful but overcoming these feelings and helping others realize that the most important thing is to try and never give up is true success. We will a fail at some point in our life but not trying something because of the fear of failure is the biggest failure.
