    • Realizar lavado de manos antes de consumir cualquier alimento y después de ir al baño.

    • El uso de tramperas para los roedores.

    • Promoción y educación sobre las causas y consecuencias de la enfermedad.

    • Promover el uso de desinfectantes

    • Mejoría en las condiciones higiénicas y sanitarias.

    • Tomar agua hervida y lavar los alimentos antes de consumir, asimismo, cocinar bien los alimentos y guardarlos en recipientes cerrados.

    • Proteger las fuentes de agua de consumo
