My students are between 11 and 13 but  I am also  in the  principal's staff, coordinating different projects of the Institute. 
Since last year I have been an Etwinner teacher but most of all I have been coordinating as many as possible teachers of my school (from the Pre Primary - Primary - Secondary) to work on such projects using all the possible digital tools. In fact this year we have received the award of Etwinning School and we are very proud of that.
I am also the referent of the national project "Generazioni Connesse" whose main task is the correct use of internet and the fight aginst cyberbullying. My school has got a E-safety Policy.
I am happy to start this corsue as I believe that being in touch with teachers from different countries  is the best way to learn and improve my own competences.

Once teachers begin the evaluation process, they will see in which areas they can improve. How can I make a concept stick in my students’ heads? What can I do to become a more effective teacher? 
The more you improve, the more your students will benefit. Self-monitoring is a way of continuously looking at practice and provide a better understanding of one's task performance to gain insight in its strength and weaknesses. therefore the advantages of this approach are really big. 
With relation to the disadvantages I think the only one is thet all teschers shoull accept this approach to eveluate themselves so it should be done in the school as a whole and not by teachers singularly.

I think that the feedback I received accurately describes my  competence and I found very interesting the possibility to compare my competences wtith the others. Hello Elena. I could suggest you to join the National Project "Generazioni Connesse" developed in collaboration with MIUR and the Safer Interne Centre. Such a project gives you the possibility to monitor the correct use of internet in your school as you have to create an E-Safety Policy that can be used to regulate it. Moreover this project offers many online seminars and courses for all the teachers of the school  and deals with different topics, all related to the net and its correct use. Then we should consider the possibility to let them use it.
