the population validity is low as the train was running from Harlem to midtown. Due to the large difference in class between these 2 area's it is likely that the study was filled with lower class participants going to work as waiters and such at restrauntes in midtown. 

It is ethically wrong as the participants did agree to be a part of a study and signed no consent form. they were also not debriefed after and could have left them with a lot of guilt.
