FICO score:

A FICO is another kind of credit score. The range for a FICO score is 300 to 850. A good score is 670 to 739. A very good score is 740 to 799. A excellent score is 800 and up. You get a free copy your score by going to AnnualCreditReport.com and going to Equifax, Experian, or TransUnion. You can build a credit score by making payments in full on time. A lender looks at your FICO score and determines if you qualify for what your applying for, a good score will tell the lender they can trust and they will lend you the money you want for a lower interest rate, a bad score will tell the lender you may not be trusted as well and you may or may not get what you want and if you do you’ll likely have a higher interest rate. Maintaining a good credit history is based on you making deadlines and paying in full each payment. You can fix a low score by making payments in full on time. The 2 main chapters of bankruptcy are Chapter 7 and Chapter 11. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is sometimes call liquidation bankruptcy. Most businesses going through this are past the stage the reorganization and usually have to sell their assets. Chapter 11 is know as reorganization or rehabilitation, it is the most complex form of bankruptcy and it is usually the most expensive. It is usually used by a business and not an individual. Having something repossessed typically means you did not make the required payments on time and as a punishment for not making your payments the bank takes away whatever your not making payments on, its typically from auto loans. Having your car repossessed doesn’t mean you don’t have to pay, you still have to pay your loan off. A negative affect usually stays on your credit report for up to 7 years.
