It is important for us to get them used to it early and feel comfortable with it at an early age. The Smartboard. If you have one available in the class, you can utilize it for many lessons in multiple different ways.
2. Copmuters. Whether they are in the classroom or the library, if you are able to access computers, you can integrate them into lessons. Students can do research or conduct parts of their own learning to give them independence. 
3. Online Learning. Students love being able to play "games" in the classroom. Of course you can make your own games via Powerpoint or multiple other apps, but you can also let them have fun with other games/activities that already exist and give them the feeling of a break from the classroom.
