The Orchestra also performs popular music from The Nutcracker, and West Side Story in the pit while the production takes place on stage. Another piece of popular music being preformed includes music from popular movies such as, the Harry Potter Series, Star Wars, Mission Impossible, Pirates of the Caribbean, Titanic and much more. Both of the Orchestras perform a good amount of well known Western Canon composers that I enjoy listening to. Listening to classical music in a concert hall is something that I've never done before but I would definitely be willing to do. Not many people pay attention to the Musicians performing, the audience pays attention to the music being produced by the composer. Arcade Fire's song No Cars Go starts out with an Orchestras playing and then transitions to a more indie rock sound.
