I find that the starry night by Van-Gogh beautiful to me as the contrast of the light and dark colors make it send the message that despite the darkness being present, there is light. The way the painting is done in a way that it looks as if it's moving because of the curved lines, and a shift has occurred in the painting. Another reason as to why I find this art piece so beautiful is because it can symbolize hope because of the stars shining brightly in the dark surrounding. It can be related to real life situations and problems like losing hope and the mental state possible being so overwhelmed that everything then feels like a mess. Going back, the contrast of the colors suit each other so well that its almost complimentary. The moon and the stars seen in the painting being one of the main attention grabbers due to its bright light/colors. In conclusion, I think that the artwork I chose is beautiful because it can have different interpretations but it’s also unique.
