Location 190
I can connect to the text at this part because the text says "When he put on his security guard uniform, he reminded me of Barney Fife from that old Andy Griffith Show, or rather a Pez dispenser of Barney Fife, because of the oversized head and skinny body." I can relate because I used to watch that show all the time and I can paint an image in my head of what Alfred is talking about.

Location 931
I can connect to the text at this part when the text says, "I had another dream too, a terrible dream, the kind that makes you wish you could wake up." I have had dreams that I wake up crying. I think everybody has.

Location 1571
The text says, "We were somewhere between Hazelton and Scranton in Pennsylvania." I can relate to this because one of my favorite television shows is based in Scranton Pennsylvania. This helps me visualize where the setting at the moment was.

This sets the scene by making the setting in Knoxville and Alfred dreading the Tuttles which were his foster family.

Aha Moment
Location 2409
As the reader, I had an aha moment when Alfred learned that Bernard Samson was his father. "Alfred, Bernard Samson was your father." This makes a lot more sense to me now because I figured out why Alfred's name was the password to the desk and why Alfred never knew his father.

"The shadow came closer and I heard her softly, 'Alfred, why are you crying?'" The tone is set by dialogue from a character that is very emotional.
