Part from that,there are many type of people that I met by having this usrah. It was very valuable experience!!So,we knew each other very well!!

Beside that, our faci explain to us about the three essential elements of usrah are: تعارف, تفهم, and تعاون.

تعارف– Getting to know one another. This involves building familiarity and understanding among the members of the group to strengthen bonds and create a comfortable environment for discussion.

تفهم– Mutual understanding. This refers to developing a deeper understanding of each other's perspectives, beliefs, and thoughts, as well as promoting harmony within the group.

تعاون – Cooperation and mutual support. This emphasizes helping and supporting one another in both religious and worldly matters, fostering a sense of unity and collective responsibility.

Then, our faci also share hadith about

"إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَىٰ"
"Verily, actions are judged by intentions, and every person will get what they intended."
(Reported by Bukhari and Muslim)

This hadith emphasizes that every action depends on the intention behind it. The value and reward of an action are determined by the intention—whether it is done for the sake of Allah or not. If the intention is sincere and for the sake of Allah, the person will be rewarded, but if the intention is not pure or not for Allah, the reward may not be granted.

Fasting (Puasa) is the practice of abstaining from food, drink, and sometimes other physical needs for a period of time.

Importance of Fasting: Fasting is a way to purify the body and soul. It helps develop self-discipline, empathy for the less fortunate, and closeness to Allah. It gives a lot of advantages include:

1. صبر(Patience):

Patience is a key component of fasting. During fasting, individuals must exhibit sabar by abstaining from food, drink, and other desires for long hours. This practice trains a person to be patient and steadfast in the face of discomfort, challenges, and temptations. Patience in fasting is also a form of perseverance in worshiping Allah, as it requires self-control and a focus on long-term spiritual goals rather than short-term satisfaction.

2. تكريم(Honor):

Takrim refers to showing respect and honoring others, especially during fasting. One of the key aspects of fasting is to treat others with kindness and consideration, as fasting is not just a personal discipline but also an act of social responsibility. During Ramadan, for example, Muslims are encouraged to show honor and respect to fellow believers, share meals, and maintain good character.

3. رحمة (Mercy):

Rahmah refers to mercy and compassion, which are central values in Islam, especially during the act of fasting. Fasting cultivates rahmah in several ways, such as through empathy for the poor, sharing meals, and being more forgiving and compassionate toward others.

After that, we play game and our faci conduct a quiz for us in group. I felt very happy to learn more about fasting.
