Mom and Dad.

In School i’m having fun, getting good grades and being a good student… I think.  I’m doing good in science and I have all A+s and i'm having fun, I think MY GRADE IS A 4 because everything work wise is good quality. In Language Arts im doing my FIREWORKS DOCUMENT and doing good on that and got all caught up from when I was sick I think my Grade in LA is a 4 because I have all of my fireups in there in good quality for a 
4/100%. My Grade in Math is a 4 because I have everything turned in and in good shape, also I only have to 3’s/85% but thats homework. In Social Studies I have a 4 because I have everything in good shape and everything's a 4 that I have in Geography. In Technology I have a 4 because i’m ahead of the class in coding and everything else, also Mr. 
Hernandez hasn’t put in any grades. In Choir I have I have a 4 because 
even though I gotta 3 my first grade. I got a better 
grades on my next notebook check. In Gym I have a 4 because I have no Grades in yet and I have done everything right and had fun.

Look at this email it has no description it just says what my grades are and a description of my grade. It doesnt say anything about what im learning it just says why I have that grade.

Heres a present day email. 

Dear mom and dad, so far in school i'm doing great not having as much fun as I was having because it's the end of the year and I am tired. I want summer it's so nice outside and i'm inside. I can't wait for may 24.

Language arts

I'm learning how to read, write, and new words on vocabulary.com. Also right now were working on a project which I'm almost done with i'm working on it with Nicholas Marusiak so we don't get totally bored out of our mind when we're doing it because i'm not in the mood for school. 

Social Studies

We just did a Socratic Seminar about globalization and if we think it's bad good or inbetween. Right now we're learning about Canada's environment, and how to help make it better because canada is the world's biggest coal distributer and that's having a big impact on their environment.

Math

Were learning about surface area and how to calculate it.  Now we're doing a lot of volume I don't know why because everyone knows how to calculate it and were not doing circles or anything hard like that, but we might do that tomorrow. 

Science

Me and my group are learning about Carlsbad Caverns. We just finished our project I hope that we get a 4 on it because we worked really hard. We have to make a future city about in Carlsbad caverns. We have to make a future city that doesn't run on any fossil fuels so it's healthy for the earth. 

Technology 

Were learning how to photoshop images like I photoshopped StarLord but put a bunch of vegetables on his face. (For a grade.) Also I photoshopped all my favorite TV shows like arrow, flash, and Dr.Who. We have to make a really nice cut around every photo, so each photo takes between 5-15 minutes or it takes 1 or 2 min. ( If it's already photoshopped.)

Gym/ Pe

Were learning how to play kickball, we were going to go outside yesterday but we couldn't because of thunder and lightning. I was ok at it. I haven't played for a while so I wasn't the best but I wasn't the worst. I got around 4 people out and made 1 run because my team isn't very good.

Choir

Were learning how to sing random songs, write out song lyrics.( Not the word's though.) And have fun. But by the middle of choir i'm saying to myself let me out of here I want to go home. Because i'm just bored after my first elective, and not as focused. But I try my hardest. 

My new emails look so formal and nice compared to my old one. Where I just said my grades and why I had those grades. 
Emails have helped my writing by. When I need to send a very nice and neat email for a job interview I know how to because I was sending email for three years of my life every Tuesday for around 2 and a half years.

Something I feel like has impacted me on learning in school this year has just been the ability to learn new things.  I feel like my years in elementary school I have been just focused on learning one thing and I feel like like it has changed this year. Some sources I have to back up my point is in Geography.  I feel like I just wanted to learn about wars and stuff coming into this year but I feel so more open to learning new things this year.

                                         Self Evaluation

I give myself a 4 because I answered the question thoroughly and carefully and I think I did a good job explaining detail. 

I think that I need to focus on typing faster and grammar because I have ok grammar but there's always room for improvement. 

I probably need to focus more in class and listen to Mrs. Cribby more instead of being in my own world. 

I probably need to focus on good writers. Instead of just not caring. 

I have grown a lot in the past 4-6 months by how when I started my emails were one sentence per section and now at least their 5 sentences per. I mean look at my first email I don't even talk about what I'm learning or what i'm doing I just said everything that had to do with language arts. Atleast I put my grades in and how i'm doing. Also I didn't put my newest a the top I just put everything below everything.

.Well I have a lot of plans for summer break I am going to california and driving the pacific coast highway and I am going to hang out with my friends play baseball and then In july I am going to New york like I always do every year to visit my grandparents and have fun outdoors. I might also go hiking and fishing in the mountains with my cousin who moved here from pennsylvania in January.
