But there are two key components of happiness:
  • The balance of emotions: Everyone experiences both positive and negative emotions, feelings, and moods. Happiness is linked to experiencing positive feelings. We can create more positive experiences ourselves!
  • Life satisfaction: This relates to how satisfied we feel with different areas of our life including relationships, work, achievements, and other things that we consider important. Remember to improve your your life-wheel!

We really wanted to see the turtles today, planned the trip since Rita had told us about them on our first day. But heavy rain and a tree stopped us. Today I learnt a Greek proverb saying that there is a reason behind every obstacle. This is a perfect example for reframing and how the perspective can influence the perception of a situation/life.
