The reciever would be unable to identify the tone of the sender and may think that the sender is giving out a welcoming and friendly tone, genuinely wanting to help the reciever, but in reality may give a sarcastic tone and the sender may not keep to his own words. In this case, the sender sounded really genuine and wanted to coach her for her own good online. This made the girl gullibly believed his innocent words. It is really hard to identify to sender's aim of their messages, hence, difficult for the receiver to identify the red flags. :]
