I get my high ability students to pair up with the lower ability students. They will use their "language/lingo" to teach the lower ability students. And it works!

Hi all. I am using the same method as Michelle. I mix and match the students in each group to ensure that not all the stronger students are in the same group. I find that though the weaker students might "ride" through the lessons, overall they still do learn from the stronger students and improve.

Yes, this is effective learning to a large extent. Students will be able to grasp the objectives better when they engage in various activities.
