TASK 1 - EXPOSURE

An Introduction to the Exposure Triangle

Part 1 - Aperture -

Create Mood Boards of Examples of Wide and Narrow Apertures.

Research a photographer, analyse their work for an example of each.

Produce a range of images Exploring each Technique
Shoot Plan (detailing what youre going to do)
Risk Assessment (available on padlet under resources)
Contact Sheet - Must Annotate
Evaluate your best example of both wide and narrow use of aperture.
Shoot Evaluation (what went well, what would you do better etc)

Part 2 - Shutter Speed -

Create Mood Boards of Examples of Fast and Slow Shutter Speeds.

Research a photographer, analyse their work for an example of each.

Recap and Summarise Exposure - Kahoot

Part 3 -

Intro to ISO

- Explanation of ISO

- Take the same photo using different ISO's and layout each image next side by side to see the progression of ISO's

Confirm your Knowledge -

Aperture - Take the same image twice - both must be correctly exposed - 1 using wide and 1 using narrow aperture. To show how you can balance exposure with different outcomes.

Shutter Speed - Same again .... Take the same image twice - both must be correctly exposed - 1 will show freezing movement using shutter speed and 1 will show motion blur in long exposure.
