Personal reflection

My idea of survival was impacted by Ricky Megees experience through his treacherous experience and his trauma and health impacts. During Rickys 71 days in the wilderness he survived only on frogs and leeches for sustenance and his own urine to avoid dehydration, this made him lose 100lb in body fat. This impacted me by showing the desperate measure taken for survival, through his abilities to persevere, relying on foragery to survive, as well as showing the bodies ability to survive in it poor conditions, being underfed and dehydrated. Therefore, my idea of survival was impacted by the willpower shown be Ricky Megee, and the harsh things done by the body to ensure survival.
