1. What is the voice of Creation telling you as you listen to the ecological realities? Or What is in your heart as you listen to the ecological realities?

The voice of Creation is telling me listen and not only hear. With this, I am given the obligation to respond actively and be compassionate towards the Creation that God conjured Himself to provide for our fundamental needs. This is because I reflected on the message of the speakers and thought that ecology gives us so much that it is only fair to reciprocate what it perpetually provides for our survival by being responsive to the issues that it faces.

I see the current environmental situation indeed saddening as God gave us Creation not only to survive, but to also care for it and be in harmony with it.

After listening to the webinar, I reflected on the ecological adversities addressed and thought about how their connections to my own actions. A striking idea that was brought up by Ms. Guerrero was that there are some conglomerates that provide scholarships to college applicants like me; this is an issue because many of the said businesses are notorious for having massive carbon footprints due to their manufacturing and capitalist processes. This has made me more skeptical of different businesses that give scholarships and has made me more conscientious about it.
