When he leaves the court house he is greeted by his family in an emotional scene where his parents finally have their worries freed. Darryl is in a ruined state mentally and physically from the abuse.

Ange- Marcus saves Ange after losing her during the VampMob event he planned. She has only been at Treasure Island for a short time, but also shows signs of the torture given there.

Barbara Armstrong- Marcus meets with Barbara after DHS is taken out of commission, and she helps him around Treasure Island with finding his friends.

Dad- Marcus's dad, he meets him outside the courthouse in a heartfelt reunion.

Them being freed all occurred from his evidence and exposing the DHS for their crimes. However he is also a criminal, however small, by stealing a phone. This is why he isn't held for his crimes against the government, but is given a bail for his theft.
