Sleeping with Sirens signed with Rise Records in November 2009. They're a post-hardcore band which means they play "watery" music. They don't write about what most bands/singers do. There lyrics have so much meaning to them, they sing about real events, things that you would never think of happening, but to a lot of people it does. Sleeping with Sirens has saved many lives.

Yes, I know they're just a band but to me they're so much more. To you they may just be a bunch of tattooed freaks, that just play music. But to me, They are the reason that I still hope. They're the only hope I have when everything has fallen apart. They are the bright light in the pitch dark. Their message, their lyrics, their music picks me up out of my hopelessness. The fact that they have accomplished their goals, that they have over come much of what I have to suffer. Well that makes me believe there is a future. To you seeing them live, or meeting them is nothing. But to me that's like coming face to face with the heroes that saved my life. So go ahead call me a crazed obsessed fan, call me weird. But they will always be the band that saved me.
