They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak foreign languages as the Spirit gave them the gift of speech.

REFLECTION:
 
Jesus did not leave His friends alone to shift for themselves after He returned to His Father. He sent the Holy Spirit as He promised to encourage and fortify them for the tasks ahead. I, too, can turn to the Holy Spirit to sanctify my life and guide me in all things, large and small. Let us continually be honest before God, tell Him for everything we face and ask His presence to guide us, the Holy Spirit to fill us and our lives. 

Ending Prayer: 

Dear Lord, I bless you and give you praise for the goodness you made in my life. I bless you for creating me and loving me, every single day. I thank You for sending Your Holy Spirit into our midst, upon our lives. Father, fill me with Your Love and Your Spirit so that nothing will be lacking in me. You are the essence of my being. All of these, I humbly lay before you in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour, together with the intercession of our Heavenly Mother, Amen.
