The people of Sudan try to use the environment of Sudan to the best of their abilities. As you all may know, the people of South Sudan do not have access to clean water. Most of their water is used for farming. In Sudan there is a scarcity of water. Only 69% of people in rural areas have access to clean water, and 86% of people in the city have this privilege. Many of the people without clean water will usually drink any water regardless of the safety of it. Drinking dirty water for long can result in many water borne diseases such as guinea worms and typhoid fever. A lot of their money comes from oil. Oil is one of their top grossing items that they sell and trade. They have also took advantage of the environment by building diesel generators. Diesel generators are special types of engines that are usually found in places where there is little or no electricity, or if there is a problem with the normal electricity source. Also, South Sudan is a country filled with poverty and disease. Because of the amount of money people earn, they can not afford purified or filtered water. Some residents of South Sudan also suffer from Malaria (spread through mosquitoes) and many other animal passed diseases.

South Sudan includes the vast swamp region of the Sudd formed by the White Nile, locally called the Bahr el Jabal. South Sudan is in a place were there isn't much water and there is a problem.

In 2011 multiple television transmitters were received by the Minister for information, and an FM radio, which leads me to believe that in 2016 there is more advanced technology. Also, South Sudan has an country level internet domain, which means they probably have modern devices like computers and phones. South Sudan's postal services still come from the North. There are also plans to link Juba with the Kenyan and Ugandan railway networks. 
South Sudan's busiest and most active airport is Juba airport, which has regular connections and flights to Entebbe, Nairobi, Cairo, Addis Ababa, and Khartoum. Juba airport is also the home base of feeder airplane companies and southern star airlines. 
There are roads and highways in South Sudan, most of the roads remain unpaved. There are several reliable transport companies who offer goods and cargo with trailers and trucks. 
Juba also has many tour companies, like, "Nimule travel agencies". They also have companies that offer 4x4 wheel car services, that offer a range of cars for hire. Most of these taxis and cars for hire  aren't metered. 
Southern Sudan has buses that follows many different routes that all start, or connect to Juba. 
The most popular type of transportation in Juba are mini vans. They have 14 seats, and are called matatu's. They can be used when some people can't afford taxis to move around. They aren't in service late in the night. The matatu's go to most of the major cities in Southern Sudan.
There are also two wheel motorbikes, also called, "Boda Boda", available in Southern Sudan, and other populated countries, they are mostly used for short journeys.

South Sudan is made mostly out of tropical rainforests, swamps, and grassland. The highest point in South Sudan is in the Imatong 
Mountains, Mount Kinyeti. The Sudd wetland in South Sudan is considered to be the largest wetland in the world. Two of the tribes in South Sudan are the Dinka and Nuer. they have been fighting for years over land. “The day usually begins with a cup of tea. Breakfast is eaten in the mid- to late morning, generally consisting of beans, salad, liver, and bread. Millet is the staple food, and is prepared as a porridge calledasidaor a flat bread called kisra.Vegetables are prepared in stews or salads.Ful,a dish of broad beans cooked in oil, is common, as are cassavas and sweet potatoes. Nomads in the north rely on dairy products and meat from camels. In general, meat is expensive and not often consumed. Sheep are killed for feasts or to honor a special guest. The intestines, lungs, and liver of the animal are prepared with chili pepper in a special dish called marara.” Says everywhereculture.com. S.Sudan has a government and military.
