Explain.- Its red light because chloroplast is what makes the plant green so a color on the opposite color spectrum will absorb more of it and grow better.&nbsp;<br><br>2. What gas do plants take in and release?- carbon dioxide is taken in and oxygen is released.<br><br>3.What is the equation for photosynthesis in words and numbers?-six carbon dioxide molecules and six water molecules are converted by light captured by chlorophyll into a sugar molecule and six oxygen molecules. SR - 6CO2 + 6H2O –(light)--&gt; C6H12O6 + 6O2<br><br>4.When light strikes a chlorophyll molecule, what happens to the electrons? -It energizes electrons within the molecule and then they jump to higher energy levels. They have absorbed or captured, and now carry that energy.</div>]]></description>
