I found this area to be a bad mix of old and new. The attempt to combine the two is there but with the lack of business these other places seem to have there isn't a chance more stores will take those abandoned buildings. I think that brining a well known chain store could bring this area much needed customers to at least get people down the street. This area is being left alone to continue to look more and more rundown as the effort to make this area appealing to people is not being made because of the lack of business.

The only cafe in the area I walked around. It is a bit hidden and far down the street, not in a very good area for business. Only the drive thru is open.

It is older looking and I don't think many people would think to go down this street for a cafe or restaurant. The sidewalks are also not the best in this area and there are quite a few buildings that are so run down they don't look open.

It almost looks too calm and gives off the impression there are just houses further down the road.

This is the one restaurant that is very cute (right). It is next to a mostly abandoned building (left) so if not for the huge open sign on the restaurants door I would assume it went out of business. The run down buildings that were abandoned or half empty did give the street I was walking a ghost town like feel. Especially with the lack of traffic.
