My take aways from the modules is that there are many different techniques that I can implement for a more positive classroom environment. When working with a group of children it is important to create and deliver school- age program activities that will meet all the right needs for every child. I have learned that the key to having success is taking a systematic approach to program planning, this includes guiding, managing, and supervising as a leader of group games and activities. Also how important it is to select the right activities, while having different options will create a positive out come among children.

1. To have success in group and individual activities planning is very important. By planning and offering multiple activities this involves different level of supervision.

2. The 3 levels of supervision are 1) Concentrated Supervision 2) Focused Supervision 3) Monitoring. To achieve this combintion you will need to divide large groups into sub-groups and individual activity offerings.

3. It's important to develop management skills for exercing in exercising level of control over children in groups. This helps keep children safe and guide children through transitions and adaptation to program activities and events.

4. It's important having clear boundaries that maintain control and safety, while still encouraging exploration and creativity.

5. Physical boundaries help children learn parameters and limits of the environment. They can be created with objects such as safety cones and ropes.

6. Behavioral boundaries help children understand the expectations of the environment, staff, and peers. They learn what actions are supported by staff and which are not acceptable.

7. Maximum Activity Plans or MaPs are key strategy for implementing group activities that keep everyone in the group engaged and involved.

8.

From what I have learned I can take away that making sure all students are engaged at all times while being supervised is very important. Also implementing boundaries can improve student behavior and over all a positive classroom where students feel safe to express themselves.
