People do not realize this simple fact do to the deception and illusion society portrays. If one really takes the time to think no one is special anymore and everyone and protects it as if it was the most amazing thing ever. People will do anything just to fit in this broken system. The human brain is currently shrinking due to societies protection. There is no natural selection any idiot with awful unfavorable genes can pass on there genetic code and humans are moving backward on the evolutionary chain. In addition to that anything that made us unique as an individual is gone to societies grasp. Those traits are shunned and frowned upon. In order to live deliberately or with a purpose you must first realize the fact that everyone else is doing it wrong. After that we must find our purpose which is the hardest part of life. Being different is part of what it means to be alive. To question everything told to you and to be unique is the trait humans were evolved to have but have lost. Following what everyone else does and to rely on everyone is what society is doing. For some reason we are taking steps backward and are to blind to see in front of us and attain our true purpose. The lover of nature is he whose inward and outward senses are still truly adjusted to each other; who has retained the spirit of infancy even into the era of manhood." This quote in the poem titled Nature written by Emerson stood out to me in the whole long excerpt. It explains how a child who has little knowledge of the world is a true part of nature. I feel this quote is correct and different since in today's society most adults look down on children and treat them as if inferior. This means you stray from what the group is doing and follow your own beliefs not societies. It means to stand out and not follow everyone else because it is seen as right. An example of this can be shown in some peoples lives. For me I heard a certain set of morals my whole life. I discovered my own drummer or my own path. One seemed good to society but he took the path straying from everyone else. Due to this choice he is very regretful and wish he can go back and change it. So far I do not have an event that I regret but the choices I make everyday affect the outcome of the next days. I don't regret because I don't look back at my choices otherwise I probably would. But the way I perceive movies is the majority of the characters are extras. There role has no contribution. I feel most average peoples lives are like this. They pick the path to fit in and get loss as a worthless extra. Although this isn't presented in movies I spend a lot of time thinking about this and what it means to have a role or meaning.
