My Uncle Kieth Was Born in October of 1945, and was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

Kieth is not exactly sure who settled here first, but we do know they came from Scotland and Ireland.

Keith has no idea what brought them here , the finance for the trip, sponsors, who it was, and what the conditions were.

Kieth knows nothing about the stories that were told about what life was like before they came here.

When the people settled here, they settled in Western Pennsylvania. They made their living by farming, mining, and timber.

Kennedy Assassination

The significant historical event

that effected him was the assassination

of John Kennedy.

John Kennedy was the 35th president of

the United States. Kennedy was born on

May 29, 1917 and died on November 22, 1963.

He was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald Jr. while

Kennedy was riding in an motorcade through Dealey

Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas. He died at the age of

76. On the motorcade, there was a bubbletop on the

presidential limo. A secret service agent asked another guy if it was clear, so he checks and he says "all clear"! So the secret service agent said "Take The bubbletop off." So it was taken off and Kennedy was killed. Later on, the secret service agent said this, tears in his eyes,

"Jim, if I only hadn't taken the bubbletop off."

Lee Harvey Oswald Jr. acted on his own and was the only assassin. Oswald shot from the 6th floor of the Schoolbook Depository Building, which was right behind the presidential limo. Oswald used the found Italian Mannlicher - Carcano Rifle. Oswald also shot officer Tippit.

It taught my uncle, at the age of 20, how precious life is.

Yellowstone National Park

My Uncle's favorite vacation spot is Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone National Park is located in Wyoming and has hundreds of wonderful geysers. It was struck by lightning in 1988. It roams with wild elk, deer and bison and many other wild animals. Yellowstone has over 40 major waterfalls. It has about 300 geysers and over 1,000 thermal features. The average life span of lodgepole pine is about 200 years.

My Uncle met my aunt when he was in high school in the year of 1961. His wife was 15 and he was 17.

Marshall University

My Uncle went to college at Marshall University and he studied Saftey Management.

Marshall University is located in Huntington, West Virginia. It's Mascot is Marco the Buffalo. Marshall University is named after John Marshall. John F Kennedy also came to the college in 1960 during his cross - country campaign for the presidency. The total cost for the on - campus attendance is $17,689.

My Uncle Lived in my house growing up. It Was Quiet and peaceful living there.

My House was built by my great grandparents and my bedroom was where my uncle slept. The sights probably differ from where it looks like now. I doubt my great grandparents had a iPod Touch and 48" flat screen TV and a XBOX 360 with Kinect and a Blu-Ray Player. It probably was bed and clothing. No electronics were in their room. Electronics were probably not invented in the 1920's or 1910's.

My Way of seeing the world has

changed because after my uncle

saying that John Kennedy was

assassinated it made me see

the world is full of sick criminals

and I need to be careful in order

to be safe in life.
