Ex-security guard and 40 year old, Jesse Figueroa, was charged in a college shooting in Los Angeles last week. The ex security guard that worked for the Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology was charged with the murder of Cameisha Denise Clark, the dean of the school. In the shootout the ex-security guard also injured another woman within the process. Along with the murder and unlawful possession of a firearm on school campus charges, he had to pay compensation to the woman harmed. Motive is unknown.

On march 18, a family (unidentified) in their car lost control of their vehicle, in the neighborhood of Baldwin Hills. In this loss of control they struck 4- year old Ma'Cya Clark, killing the boy. After the manslaughter they then proceeded to flee the scene in another vehicle after theirs was totaled.

Santa Ana High School, West Walnut Street, Santa Ana, CA

On may 7 two teenagers, ages 15 and 17 from the Santa Ana High School in Santa Ana CA, violently attacked and murdered a 14-year old boy. Later when the suspects found out the boy died in the hospital, they turned themselves in along with their parents. It has been proven the violent act was associated with gang affiliations within the area.

On may 6 around 4 p.m. an elderly couple was murdered in a two car collision. The elderly couple was said to have died on the spot, and the driver of the other car denied medical attention on the scene.
