1. What is the role of government? Why do we have one? What is it's purpose?

2. What do you think the role of the government should be? In your opinion, is our current government's role in our lives to strong or too weak (do you want more or less)? Explain.

1) The government is the leadership of the country. We have one because without it, there would be no organization no one would be in charge of everyone else. It's purpose is to lead and protect the people, and listen to them when they reach a consensus on what should be in the country.

2) I think the role of the government should be what it is: to lead the people. I think it should be weaker, it's too strong. Too much stuff is dependent on if the government has you registered for something, or your social security number. The government also has access to most if not everything that we do on the internet, even emails.

1: To manage a community. They set rules and laws . Without one it would be chaos.

1.) The role of the government is to make choices of the country. We have one because without it it would be a mess.

Government is what gives us rules we follow to keep us safe. Without one, everything would be crazy.

The government is just to keep everything the way it should be. They are pretty strong, the make everyone follow the rules, like everyone else.
