Beril Hocam,
First of all, thank you very much for your wonderful session. After seeing what you have been doing in your institution, it was relieving to see that we are on the right path.
I am hoping that perhaps next semester we can introduce peer observation, or video coaching as alternatives to SIGs. Perhaps having three options to choose from can decrease the resistance for professional development.
I will be in touch to discuss our possible future actions.
Thank you once more and lots of love.

xx

hi hocam, thanks for going over the possible peer evaluation options. i agree with melek, that giving options to students and convinsing them about the aims will decrease resistance to change among teachers in the long run

Hocam hi, I am back in İstanbul. Sorry I couldn't write earlier. I would like to thank you for not only your nice presentation but also for your approachable personality. I learned a lot and team teaching is the one that fascinated me the most. I think I will start with that and I am sure my colleagues will benefit from it as ıt reduces the stress of being observed and sharing the responsibility at the same time.

Thanks once again for the great session.

I was specifically fond of the idea of team teaching. We're all human, therefore, the idea of observations for whatever reason it be, becomes stressfull. Thanks to our session, I now have very little knowledge about 'team teaching', which I think could decrease stress when observations for PD purposes are aimed. ı hope to do further reading related to team teaching and pair up with a colleague and see how team teaching would work at our institution. Thanks again for everything xxx
