We live in a world where there is a lot of violence and evil. Despite this, I am grateful for living in the modern world. I wouldn't want to be transported back to the 14th century with its brutality and ruthlessness.

Today I learned that life on our planet is constantly changing, no matter what continent or country. Since settlers found new land and used it for themselves, there have always been struggles for power and property. Many people have been oppressed and exploited, but there have always been kind people. Visiting the Saga Museum increased my knowledge of Icelandic history. I'm glad I didn't have to live in the Middle Ages.My subsequent visit to the whale museum made a great impression on me and touched me emotionally. I've learned a lot of interesting facts about the giants that inhabit our oceans that I wasn't aware of before. The fact that we humans have a negative impact on life in the oceans with our actions and that we are destroying our livelihoods has touched me emotionally and at the same time made me angry at those who are destroying this planet with their striving for power and money. It's good that there are people trying to counteract this.

Today I learned the history of Iceland. Iceland's history dates back to the settlement era, which began in the late 9th century when Viking arrived on the island. Iceland's history has been shaped by a range of factors, including volcanic activity, harsh weather conditions, and isolation from the rest of Europe, which has contributed to the development of a distinct Icelandic culture and identity.

Today I learned the history of Iceland. Saga museum is a great place where you can learn about history in an interesting way with all your senses. Thanks to this experience, I can look more widely and explore Iceland.

Today I've learnt that humans can be very egoist when they have some interests to follow... many times at the expense of others living beings. We have to resist and try to change this system, because if we destroy nature, we destroy also ourselves!

Today I learned how to drive a green bus. I traveled Icelandic roads enjoying the views. I had a wonderful time exploring nature and looking for trolls among the cliffs.

Today I learned how legends, sagas and history shape national and personal identity. This identity enables a person to understand not only themselves, but other people as well. I got to know several facts about Icelandic history. It clearly shows how different nations impact one another. This teaches how to be respectful to the local culture without denying the other ones.

I have learnt how long it takes to create nations and communities around the world and how stormy this period of time can be. Iceland has a fascinating history which includes beliefs, habits and wisdom of this island. We visited a very interesting museum which left me totally impressed.
