Today is the first day of our dairy. We have created a Gmail account that is called fllyybbyy@gmail.com. We also have done a logo which is the icon of the padlet. And also we had done research work about the different components of the Zum Box. Finally, we have used Bitbloq. It is really useful and you can learn a lot of things by using it. Here you have one picture of what we have done in Bitbloq:

Today we had to do the next exercise of bitbloq. The exercise we did was called Led and light sensor. You had to program it in order to when the light sensor doesn’t detect light (200-0) the Led turns on. Here’s the picture of what we would have done if we had the materials:

Today we did the third exercise of bitbloq. In this exercise, we had to combine what we have learned in the previous exercises. We also learned how to use more complex functions. We have programmed the plate to turn on the led only when the button is pressed and it detects darkness.

This last exercise was the most difficult one. This is because this exercise was made with different functions. Here we had 4 different states: state 0, where both Leds have to be off, state 1, where the leds have to be blinking, state 1, were we want the leds blinking at the same time, state 3, where the leds are also blinking but this time alternatively and state 4, where we can both leds to be on. In this exercise we had to use a global variable to declare the variable of state 0. In the loop we had to use the if function to read the button and once it is pressed, we have to wait 100ms and if the state is 3, we make the machine go back to state 0. If not, we had to add 1 to the variable. Afterwards we check the results. If the value of the stae is o, we turn off the leds. If it is 1, we have to make both leds turn on, then wait 1 second, turn the off, and wait again 1 second. If it is equal to 2, we turn on led 1 and turn off led 2, wait 1 second and then, turn off led 1 and turn on led 2 and finally wait 1 second. In the last state, we have to make both leds turn on.

The exercise number five was very similar to the previous one. The concept was the same one but we had to use less blocks in the loop. So what we did was to declare the functions ON,OFF... in the global function and then in the loop we only have to put DO ON and it will automatically do it.

In this last exercise we had to use new components. 1 led, 2 servos that work as wheels, and an ultrasound sensor. The robot has to move forward all the time and when the ultrasounds sensor detects something closer than 10cm the robot has to go to the left. To do this we declare two functions in the global one, one called forward, that moves both motors and turns off the led. The second one we use it to move left, first we turn on the led and then we stop the left wheel and move the other one. In the loop we use a if function and when the distance is less than 10 cm the robot goes left and if not it keeps moving right.
