It is especially effective for practicing and reviewing content.</p><p>The platform can be used both in the classroom and remotely, and is suitable for a wide range of student groups, from primary school students to undergraduates. According to the website, even adult learners in professional training settings can benefit from its use.          <title>Application in the K-12 classroom </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><br></p><p>Personally, I have used Kahoot! as an interactive formative assessment tool, or a more fun way to use it as a KWL chart. It can use at the beginning of the class to gauge students previous knowledge, or used as the end of the class to see how much they have mastered the content. I also observed other social studies teachers used it as a way for in-class quiz. Students were allocated with limited time to finish the quiz on kahoot to reiceve immediate feedback with correcdt answers or exaplantions (It deepends on how teacher set up it in the quize set). Or some teacher used it as a poll to collect quick opinions. Students can also be set up to use kahoot to do self-learning and self-assessment on it.</p>]]></description>

The immediate feedback students receive reinforces their learning, encouraging them to correct mistakes and retain information.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Cognitivism</strong>: The cognitive benefits of Kahoot depend on how teachers design their lessons and quizzes. Since technology is ultimately mediated by humans, thoughtful instructional design is crucial. For instance, if teachers integrate visual elements, auditory cues, or videos into their Kahoot quizzes, students will benefit from engaging with multiple sensory modalities, enhancing cognitive processing and retention.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Constructivism</strong>: Kahoot also supports constructivist learning through its team mode, where students work collaboratively to answer questions. This setup promotes discussion, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving, allowing students to rely on each other's strengths and build knowledge together.</p>]]></description>
