Osiris is an Ancient Egyptian god of the underworld. A long time ago, in Egypt The warior god Set and his spouse, the goddess Nephtys, decorated an extravagant hall for the occasion, with a beautiful wooden chest as the centerpiece. Set announced a game whoever could fit perfectly in the chest, could have it as a gift. When its Osiris's turn, as he lay down, everyone could see it was perfect fit. Then, Set slammed the lid down with osiris still inside, got it sealed shut and tossed it into the nile. Long story, Osiris finally got killed by his own brother Seth, because Set was jealous of his brother's successful reign, and hope to replace him as the ruler of all Egypt. Seth tore apart Osiris's corpse and flung the pieces all over Egypt. The goddess Isis, spouse of Osiris, search the pieces of Osiris's corpse and gave new life to Osiris, who became the ruler of the underworld. Osiris and Isis conceived a son to bear Osiris's legacy. After that, Osiris became The king of death and the new king was Osiris's son, that one day would avenge him.
