It was the first day that I went to the field of training at that day and I found the place did internship was only serving that way the company. This day I have learned the words of “Car Insure through by Touch’ n Go” which are one of the roadshow programmes handle by OBright Event. Car insurance means that motor vehicle insurance is a policy that protects vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, buses, and lorries from unforeseen risks such as theft, as well as damage from road accidents and special perils like floods. So today, Obright Event provide me with some bits of knowledge and skills to become a calling on behalf of Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet. Due to the pandemic, all the offline roadshow can’t be conducted. Thus, all the tasks and works are carrying out in the office. Through this period, I can learn about communication skills and thinking skills. Besides that, I also learned to calculate the road tax and package it in a parcel.

Besides that, that is my first time to join a meeting with my boss.  During the meeting, my boss let me update the responsibilities during these 2 days and tell me what will I learn during the internship. They also shared their experiences about how to close with customers and the techniques to become confident during the process of communication. While. They also update me on the jobs will be done by the next time which is more focused to how to use excel to edit the information and how to do customers service with our customers. Actually, I will very excited to learn about that and look forward to my next job. On the other hand, because we still have a lot of calls that need to do so my boss let me share a recruitment post which is telesales to raise the numbers of people to pay their car insurance with the application of Touch’n Go.  Finally, I was continued to calculate the road tax and do the package.

The responsibility that I do today is to continue to call the customers for promoting car insurance with Touch’s Go e-wallet. During this time, I have successfully let 1 customer pay with it and enjoyed the promotion given. While the calls that I do today are 70 calls and I felt that I have more confidence and no nervousness during the process compared to my first day. After finishing the calls, my supervisor teaches me about the information and the knowledge of road tax. It is because that, I will handle for the next sessions for the customer’s services of the problem about renew road tax. During the meeting, the supervisor teach me to know some statuses will show on the website that the company provided which are pending, in progress, completed, top-up required, top-up completed, outstand saman, saman cleared, and the special case. These statuses are very important because they will let me know the issues, problems, difficulties that customers faced and how to overcome them. With the meeting, I learned that the road tax is determined by 3 situations which are CC, ownership whether they are private or company and the last one is vehicle type which is saloon or non-saloon.
